A charge-monitoring laser-induced acoustic particle mass spectrometer was invented. This mass spectrometer can be used to measure a particle with a mass from a few Daltons to more than a million giga Daltons. It can be used for rapid mass distribution measurement. It can be used to distinguish cancer cells from normal cells when their mass distributions are different.
No similar devices or instruments are available in the market.
